Story time:

Science experiment:
As this is our final week of homeschooling, for science this week we will be revisiting each of the kids' favourite experiments and recreating them all over again! For her favourite experiment, Nicki chose the Bouncing Light experiment from our L is for Light week. We therefore took our science activity into a dark closet and the kids experimented with bouncing light off a mirror. They made predictions about where the light would shine if they moved the mirror in various directions and also tried to move the mirror so that the light would shine on specific objects. Even though this was the second time around, they still got a big kick out of it!

Physical activity:
Outdoor play in the backyard.

Outing/social time:
Weekly library visit.
6 of our 15 selections were theme related books:

Scooby Doo! The Essential Guide by Dakin
Scooby Doo! And the Phony Fortune Teller by Gelsey
Scooby Doo! The Haunted Road Trip by Herman/del Sur
Chill Out Scooby Doo! by Massen/del Sur
Scooby Doo! And the Scary Snowman by Balaban/Massen/del Sur

We will continue to practice these sentences all week.
