Insoluble
Today we investigated the meaning of the word insoluble. The kids hypothesized about what would happen if they put sugar into one glass of water and sand into another glass of water and stirred. They then put their theories to the test and discovered that the sugar dissolved while the sand remained and I explained to them the meaning of insoluble.

French:
French is emphasized throughout the entire day; especially theme related words. Today we practiced saying "J'ai fini" when they are done doing something and also continued to reinforce all of the notions that we covered in previous weeks. We will continue to practice these sentences all week.
