Week 3 - Wednesday

The kids made Froot Loops rainbows.

Science experiment:

Theme this week is Colours

The kids made rainbow cupcakes by dividing white cake mix batter into 6 bowls and using food colouring to make them into the 6 colours of the rainbow. Yum!







Physical activity:
Played in the snow in the backyard.





Outing/social time:
None.

Worksheets:
Coloring C word pictures, tracing letter C, tracing C words, tracing curved lines, reading colour name and colouring in correct colour, finding green items in larger group, finding pink items in larger group, matching colour name with item of that colour, colouring shapes in indicated colour, cutting straight lines.



Hands on math:
None.

Computers:
None.

Music:
Danced and sang along to our colours theme compilation cd.

French:
French is always emphasized throughout the entire day; especially theme related words. Today we practiced using "S'il vous plait" when making a request and "Merci" when that requested in granted. We also continued working on answering "Je ne comprends pas" when they don't understand something said to them in French and "Je ne sais pas" when they understand but don't know the answer. We will continue to practice these sentences all week.
