Worksheets

We will do a small amount of worksheets every day, ideally while big sister Nicki is doing her homework as well. Worksheet time will be kept short and fun but over the weeks will encompass 4 main areas: reading, writing, math & scissor skills.


Worksheets will include such things as:

Tracing lines - left to right, right to left, up to down, down to up, diagonally
Letter & number tracing and writing
Name writing
Matching uppercase to lowercase
Matching word to picture
Matching item description (short sentence) to picture
Colouring letter of the week related pictures
Counting practice and associating numeral
Patterns
Picture matching
Same vs different
Dot to dot
Mazes
Cutting - straight lines, curved lines, shapes


As the year goes on and skills improve the worksheets will go beyond what has been initially been listed here and become more complex.
